This time shift samsung Gio can update from the team cyanogenmod 7.With version 7 this cmod you can improve performance and quality of the Galaxy Gio you with more leverage.I've tried this on Gio custoom my room and managed by the records you should follow this tutorial correctly.
Immediately, he's his explanation:
1.Download the latest version clockworkmod specially used for CM7. then put through the recovery mode:
2.Put it on SD Card, not in that folder ..
3.Sign in Recovery Mode (Turn off the phone, finish off, press Home + Power Button)

hOW TO INSTAL CMOD7 7.2:
1.Download cmod 7.2 in:
2.MOVE TO SDCARD DONT MOVE IN A FOLDER
3.Go to recovery mode
4.Backup and Restore> Backup (Preparation if there are errors or not fit at its CM7 ROM)
5. install CM7 on sdcard (install. zip from SD Card)
6.Wait a few minutes to complete the installation

NOTE:
will require some time for the Galaxy Gio enter standby menu if it was too long so go into recovery mode again> wipe the data and cache and then reboot again.
Remember this is still in beta so there are still bugs that have not been fixed in this room custoom like:
1. bluetooth can not receive data from the PC ..
2. can not sign in google via your account settings.
3. android.process force close /.
4. camera orientation.
